The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo
Fayose, has paid N150 million as compensation to the people whose
property would be affected by the construction of a new Oja Oba Market
in Ado-Ekiti.
He consequently announced that he had set a 14-month deadline for the construction of the market, adding that the demolition of the old market and the construction of new one would start on November 8, this year. All that as prelude to the construction of an airport.
